Birch Consultants

Birch Consultants is a medium-sized consultancy agency on a mission: connecting the 3 pillars of the ‘triple helix’: Governments, Businesses and Academia. Birch develops programs and business cases that are socially relevant and helps build bridges between these 3 entities, which do not naturally interact with each other.

Birch is growing into the next phase. I helped them review their Marketing & Communication strategy, goals, positioning and proposition, and helped them prepare for the next step in communications and promotion, like developing a new website. Besides this, I stepped in on several consulting projects involving secondary schools.

Working for Birch was interesting for me because it combined my background in Government, my affinity for Education and my expertise in Marketing Communications. I experienced the relevance of my contribution and also discovered that it is quite a challenge to integrate Marketing Communications in a company that never prioritised to this before. I hope Birch will make the next step and implement all the ideas that we developed together!
